Edgo Energy was launched in 2008 on completion of the arrangements between the Company’s founding management team and its cornerstone investor, the Edgo Group, which has supported the water, oil, gas and power industries in the Middle East and Africa for the last 50 years. 

The Executive Team is highly experienced with an average of 25 years upstream involvement with both oil majors and independent E&P companies. The team has regional experience across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Far East and South America with particular strengths in geoscience and subsurface engineering, oil and gas commercialisation and marketing and upstream finance.

The team has significant experience of operating and building upstream businesses in technically and politically challenging environments. In addition the team has an extensive network of contacts to ensure that Edgo Energy can access the latest and most optimal technologies and the best project management strategies and practices.
